| Desmond Barrett | |

Mr. Barrett, was elected to the Board of Supervisors by the residents of East County Water Control District in November 2000, becoming the youngest elected official ever elected in Lee County at the age of 22 years old. Mr. Barrett was subsequently reelected to the board of Supervisors in November of 2004. |

While serving on the board Mr. Barrett has taken an active interest in preserving our environment while balancing the interest of the growing population in Lehigh Acres. He is a leading voice for smaller government and less taxes. He has supported proposals that have lowered the districts tax rate, while supporting the districts employees. He believes in a balance approach to governance.
His interests include spending time with his wonderful wife Julie and their three daughters. |

| Neal Horrom | |

Neal was elected to the Board of Supervisors by the residents of Lehigh Acres on 11/12/97 and again on 11/5/2002.
He served as
the Chairman of the Board since 1998 and is now the Treasurer. Neal was born in Lakeland, Florida and moved to Lehigh Acres before his 1st birthday.He graduated Riverdale High School in 1984 and went on to achieve an
Associate of Arts Degree from Florida University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Citrus/Business from Florida

Neal has owned, Agri-Concepts,Inc." since 1997 and currently works with Precision Agriculture
Specialists for United Agri Products, Inc., Florida.
Neal's interests include: Family activities, church activities, hunting, fishing,tennis, hiking, bike riding, reading books to his children and himself.
Neal resides in Lehigh Acres with his wife Melissa and their two sons.

A Lee County native and has operated his accounting and tax practice in Lehigh Acres since 1981. He attended local schools and received a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University at Boca Raton.

Nate has a great love for our environment and natural resources and is an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. He and his wife Ann have lived and raised their four children in Lehigh Acres. |

| John Boardman | |

John was selected by the current Board of Supervisors to fill the open seat # in July of 2005.
John has an extensive background, 30 years, in municipal water and wastewater treatment, retiring from the City of Punta Gorda in 2004.
Former Commissioner on the Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District. Appointed by Governor Bob Martinez in 1990 and was subsequently re-elected 3 times.
He served for a total of 14 years, President for three years and Treasurer for 8 years.

After moving to Lehigh Acres in 1972, John and his wife Karen raised three children and now have two grandchildren.

| Damon Shelor | |

Damon Shelor, a twenty five year resident of Lehigh Acres was appointed to the Board of Supervisors in March 2006 and was reaffirmed to the ECWCD Board of Supervisors during the election season of 2006. Born in Kentucky, Damon moved to east Lee County in 1976 after graduating from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture. Damon, a Certified Crop Advisor for Agriliance LLC, has during his 30 year career in Florida agriculture developed understanding and knowledge of water quality and management issues that are focal points of concern in southwest Florida. |

Damon and his wife Diane moved to Lehigh Acres in 1980 raised two children Lisa, a graduate of FGCU that lives in Lehigh Acres and Kelly, a graduate of USF at Tampa who is living in the Tampa area. As a resident of Lehigh Acres, Damon currently serves or is a member of the following organizations. |
